Dr. Anusha Ammu

Anusha Ammu, MD

Dr. Anusha Ammu completed her medical degree MBBS from MNR Medical College in India. In 2021, she completed her Internal Medicine Residency at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center of the Permian Basin. Dr. Ammu went on to receive her Infectious Disease Fellowship at Texas Tech University Health Sciences in Lubbock, Texas. Dr. Ammu is a member of the Infectious Disease Society of America, American Board of Internal Medicine, and American College of Physicians. She is a part of the Medical Council of India and the Andhrapradesh Medical Council. Dr. Ammu came to the Permian Basin in 2017. She specializes in treating all general infectious diseases, infections associated with immunocompromised conditions and much more. Dr. Ammu is a board certified Internal Medicine physician. When Dr. Ammu isn’t working, she enjoys spending time with her family and dog, singing, cooking, dancing and gardening.


 
Dr. James Richardson

James D. Richardson, MD

Dr. James Richardson completed his undergraduate degree at Indiana State University. He then went on to graduate from medical school at Indiana University School of Medicine in 1990. Following medical school, he completed his internal medicine post-graduate training at Indiana University School of Medicine. Dr. Richardson went on to obtain his Infectious Disease Fellowship from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN and then continued on to his Clinical Pharmacology and Toxicology Fellowship from Indiana School of Medicine. He is a member of the Infectious Disease Society of America, Rotary International and has completed numerous medical missionary trips. Dr. Richardson has focused his specialty and interest in all bacterial, viral, fungal and parasitic diseases.
