The Outpatient Treatment Center, in the former CCU location on the first floor of the main building, provides adult ambulatory treatments formerly housed on West Campus and on the previous fourth floor before the building of the new tower. Midland Memorial's Outpatient Treatment Center is open by appointment only from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, as well as weekends and holidays by appointment only. Common procedures performed in the new center include antibiotics, IVIG, blood transfusions, injections, hydration, and plasma exchanges.
Typically, an outpatient will come to the admission's area for registration and payment information. Then, if needed, he or she will be taken to the Testing Center to have blood drawn. Treatment and therapies will be scheduled taking into consideration insurance approval and time required for services.
