Dr. Ammu completed her medical degree MBBS from MNR medical college, India. In 2021, she completed her Internal Medicine Residency at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center of the Permian Basin. Dr. Ammu went on to receive her Infectious Disease Fellowship at Texas Tech University Health Sciences in Lubbock. Dr. Ammu is a member of the Infectious Disease Society of America, American Board of Internal Medicine and American College of Physicians. She is a part of the Medical Council of India and the Andhrapradesh Medical Council. Dr. Ammu came to the Permian Basin in 2017. She specializes in treating all general infectious disease, infections associated with immunocompromised conditions and much more. Dr. Ammu is a Board Certified Internal Medicine physician. When Dr. Ammu isn’t working, she enjoys spending time with her family and dog, singing, cooking, dancing and gardening.
