Community Garden

Midland Health is proud to provide community members with accessible locations to practice a healthier lifestyle by growing their own fresh produce. The Midland Health Community Garden first opened on August 13, 2016. The garden is approximately 13,000 sq. ft. and features 34 individual plots, 2 keyhole gardens and 3 wheelchair-accessible raised planters. The garden is located on the Northeast corner of the F. Marie Hall Outpatient Center (formally known as West Campus) at 4214 Andrews Highway.

How To Apply for a Garden Plot

Individual garden plots measuring 5' x 13' will be available to rent for $32 per year or $16 per half-year. The fee provides access to the necessary water and tools you will need, as well as relationships with local community members dedicated to making Midland the healthiest community in Texas! Applicants must be a resident of Midland County. 

A completed application includes all of the following:

  • Signed Gardener Application
  • Signed Memorandum of Understanding
  • Copy of Texas driver's license or Texas ID card (for each person in household)
  • Copy of current utility bill and/or lease agreement with Midland address
  • Check for $16 or $32 made payable to: Midland Memorial Foundation
