The Legacy Award

Sherry Constable graduated from Midland College with an Associates of Applied Science in Radiography and worked for Midland Health for 22 1/2 years. Sherry married the love of her life J.D. Constable on May 12, 1976 in Odessa, Texas and enjoyed 40 years together before Sherry lost her battle to cancer. Sherry was known for her expertise, not only in Radiology, but for her excellence in being a leader to those around her. Sherry’s life was an example of the 12 Core Action Values that we teach in our Hospital today.

In honor of all past Radiologic Technologist, whose courageous battle ended too soon, the name Sherry Constable Award has been changed to The Radiology Legacy Award of Excellence. This award will allow the memory of our beloved friends and co-workers to live on through the annual selection and recognition of Radiologic Technologist who demonstrate clinical excellence and outstanding leadership; just as these extraordinary Radiologist Technologist did.
