Mass Vaccination Site Operations Come to a Close on April 30th

The Midland County Horseshoe Backstage mass vaccination site, 2514 Arena Trail, will close indefinitely on Friday, April 30th at 4:00 pm.
Throughout the week (April 26-30), the site will be open from 12 noon to 4pm daily. COVID-19 vaccines will be administered during this timeframe to walk-ins or anyone with a scheduled appointment that is 16 years of age or older. After April 30th, COVID-19 vaccinations will be available throughout our community at local grocery stores, pharmacies and physician offices. To find a vaccine location, please visit the Texas Department of State Health Services vaccine availability map by clicking here.
The Unified Command Team has been able to administer or transfer to be administered over 94,000 vaccinations through mass vaccinations efforts. These efforts would not have been possible without the collaboration among the Unified Command Team and our partners. We wish to thank the local volunteers, Midland College, Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center, The University of Texas of the Permian Basin, Team Rubicon, and the many generous donors that have given throughout this effort.
