MMH Pediatrics wing receives special gift from local dealership
The new car and truck manager of Rogers Ford Lincoln Sales, Inc. in Midland recently visited a family member staying in the Pediatrics wing of Midland Memorial Hospital. While there, he noticed several toys with which children were playing, particularly two Big Wheels trucks. Having kids he knew how much joy these little toys bring to children in the community.
He spoke with Doss Rogers, owner of the auto dealership. On Tuesday, the Midland dealership will be donating a Rogers Ford mini Mustang for children to play with in the Pediatrics wing.
The Pediatrics Unit is a 12 bed unit located on the north wing of the sixth floor of the Scharbauer Patient Tower. This unit cares for Pediatric patients after discharge from the Nursery Unit all the way up through 18 years of age.
