PGY1 Pharmacy Practice Residency Program

- 293 staffed bed teaching hospital
- Multi-disciplinary rounding teams (Internal Medicine, Critical Care, Neonatal Intensive Care, etc.)
- Level Three Trauma Center
- Decentralized pharmacy services in Medical, Post-Surgical, Critical Care, Emergency Department, and Neonatal Intensive Care


Required Rotations

Pharmacy Practice - Clinical Management, Operational Management, Medication Safety, 340B, Financial Management, etc. - 12 months

Our Team

Michalea Daggett, Pharm.D., BCPS, BCIDP
Pharmacy Residency Program Director

Dr. Daggett is a native West Texan. She obtained her Bachelor's degree in Genetics from Texas A&M University in 2004 and her PharmD from the University of Houston in 2008. She did her post graduate training in a PGY1/PGY2 Pharmacotherapy residency at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in Lubbock, TX. She practiced as the critical care pharmacist at Midland Memorial Hospital for five years before transitioning to the Pharmacy Clinical Manager position in 2015. Her professional interests include anticoagulation, antimicrobial stewardship, and multi-disciplinary clinical initiatives. She loves to spend time with her family, explore the world, and dabbles in playing the guitar..



Minh Hong, PharmD, MBA-HA
Pharmacy Residency Coordinator

Dr. Hong practiced as a clinical pharmacy specialist in the internal medicine from 08/2014 to 01/2018 at Medical Center Hospital in Odessa Texas. During this time, he also served as the PGY1 pharmacy practice residency director. He was promoted to Pharmacy Clinical Coordinator 01/2018 and then to Director of Pharmacy 06/2019. In July 2022, he comes onboard with Midland Memorial Hospital team to serve as the PGY1 pharmacy residency program coordinator. He received his PharmD from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center School of Pharmacy (TTUHSC SOP) in 2012. He then completed a two-year ASHP/ACCP-accredited residency in pharmacotherapy practice at TTUHSC SOP in Lubbock, Texas in 2014. His current career goal is to create a system of pharmacy residency programs in which hospitals can collaborate and share cutting-edge practices. In his spare time he enjoys playing recreational sports and spending time with family and friends.


Molly Schulz, Pharm.D
Total Parenteral Nutrition Pharmacist

Dr. Schulz is a clinical pharmacist at Midland Memorial Hospital. She received her Doctor of Pharmacy Degree from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center School of Pharmacy in 2003. With numerous practice experiences within the hospital setting, Dr. Schulz's practice consistently focuses on the nutritional needs of patients. She recently accepted the role as lead TPN pharmacist on the nutrition support team. Dr. Schulz is an active member of American Society for Parenteral and Enteral Nutrition. She enjoys many long hours raising her three children and her husband. She loves travel and adventure and frequently dreams of climbing Mount Everest and leading a rafting trip down the Colorado River in the Grand Canyon. Dr. Schulz plans to stay healthy enough to finish the Boston Marathon at age 70.













Cheryl Gao
Operational Manager

Cheryl was born and raised in La Habra, CA, and graduated from Rosary High school in 2002. She attended the University of California of Riverside where she graduated with a bachelor's degree in Psychology 2006. After graduation she went on to focus her studies on Pharmacy at Washington State University in Spokane, WA and graduated with her PharmD. in 2016. After graduation she went on to work for CVS pharmacy in 2017. After 3 years, Cheryl took on a position as a staff pharmacist at Midland Memorial Hospital where she then later assumed the role as the TPN pharmacist. Currently she serves as the Pharmacy operations manager. She lives with her husband, Thai Le and her daughters, Evelyn and Audrey. Cheryl loves traveling, cooking, baking, crafting, and reading.



Eugene Neboh, PharmD
Emergency Medicine Pharmacist

Dr. Eugene Neboh was raised in Odessa, Texas and attended Texas Tech University for undergraduate studies. During this time he played cornerback for the Texas Tech football team. Upon graduating from Texas Tech with a Bachelor's degree of science in 2012, Eugene went on to Southwestern Oklahoma State University to complete his prerequisite courses to apply for pharmacy school. Eugene received his Doctorate of Pharmacy, along with Masters in Business Administration, from Southwestern Oklahoma State University in 2021. He completed a PGY-1 residency at Baptist Saint Anthony Hospital in Amarillo, Tx in July 2022. After residency Eugene took a position at Midland Memorial Hospital as a clinical pharmacist in August 2022. Eugene enjoys staying physically active, watching sports and cartoons, playing video games, hanging out with friends, as well as trying new places to eat (preferably breakfast food).



Susan Ivanhoe, RPh
340B Pharmacist Coordinator

Susan Ivanhoe has been a Midland, Texas resident for the past 29 years. She went to college at Southwestern Oklahoma State University, graduating in 1982. Her first job as a pharmacist was at St. Joseph's Hospital in Fort Worth, Tx in September of that same year. Susan worked in a retail setting for twenty of her forty years as a pharmacist. She has also worked in both a Rehabilitation Hospital setting and a Long-Term Acute Care setting. Susan became a staff pharmacist at Midland Memorial Hospital in 2014. In September of 2021, she accepted the role of Pharmacist 340B Coordinator. Susan is married to David Ivanhoe. They have 2 grown children, Troy and Caleigh. Susan spends most of her free time playing racquetball, traveling to visit family and friends and participating in church activities. Collecting antiques and streaming British TV shows are also popular pastimes.




Stephen Wang, Pharm.D., RPh

Dr. Stephen Wang began his career in healthcare upon completion of his Bachelors of Science in Nursing where he practiced as an RN in the ICU/CCU setting. Attended University of Texas College of Pharmacy in 2016 followed by completion of PGY1 at Confluence Health. Main interests include internal medicine and infectious disease. Outside of work, he enjoys cooking and reading. 



Rebecca Erb, Pharm.D.

Rebecca Erb, PharmD, is a clinical pharmacist at Midland Memorial Hospital. Dr. Erb obtained her B.S. in Pharmacy from North Dakota State University in 1988. She obtained her Doctor of Pharmacy from the University of Florida in 2011.   She has worked in hospitals in Aurora, Illinois and Midland, Tx. She has been at Midland Memorial Hospital for 24 years where she is currently the critical care pharmacist. Dr. Erb enjoys reading, traveling to National Parks, and spending time with her family.


Hung Pham, PharmD
Internal Medicine Clinical Pharmacist

Dr. Pham is a clinical pharmacy specialist in internal medicine at Midland Memorial Hospital. He received his PharmD from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center School of Pharmacy in 2012. He has worked with the pharmacy team at Midland Memorial Hospital since 2014. Currently his practice activities at Midland Memorial Hospital include antimicrobial stewardship and rounding with internal medicine multidisciplinary teams. During his free time, he enjoys traveling, biking, and spending time with family and friends.



Hanh Nguyen, Pharm.D.

Dr. Nguyen took pre-pharmacy studies at University of Texas at Arlington, Arlington, Texas from 2004-2006. She got Bachelor of Biology at University of Texas at Arlington, Arlington, Texas in 2007. She attended Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine, School of Pharmacy, Erie, PA from 2008-2011 for Doctor degree of Pharmacy. Following are awards and honors during 2004-2011:

Meaghen Wiley, PharmD, BCPS
Internal Medicine Clinical Pharmacist

Dr. Meaghen Wiley was born and raised in Northeast Texas. She received her Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Science from Texas A&M University in 2017 and her PharmD from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center Jerry H. Hodge School of Pharmacy in 2021. She completed her PGY1 residency at BSA Health System in Amarillo, TX in 2022 and her PGY2 internal medicine residency at OU College of Pharmacy/OU Health in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma in 2023. After residency, Meaghen accepted a position at Midland Memorial Hospital as an Internal Medicine Clinical Specialist. Her professional interests including diabetes and heart failure management and education, antimicrobial stewardship, and precepting students and residents. Meaghen enjoys traveling, watching Aggie football, and spending time with friends, family, and her dogs, Levi and Shiner. 







Kevin S. Jackson, PharmD

Dr. Kevin Jackson is a Midland, TX native who received his Doctor of Pharmacy Degree from TTUHSC School of Pharmacy in 2017. He practiced community pharmacy with Market Street/Albertons from 2017 to 2020 before transitioning to the inpatient setting at Midland Memorial Hospital. Kevin has extensive experience in the emergency department, outpatient infusion center, and central pharmacy. In the summer of 2023, he accepted the NICU pharmacist position at MMH. His primary career interests are neonatology, pediatrics, and emergency pharmacotherapy. In his spare time, he enjoys making memories with his wife and their two children. Kevin likes being outdoors, playing guitar, and is an avid Texas Tech sports fan.

Amanda Charlton, PharmD, BCPS

Dr. Amanda Charlton was born and raised in Albuquerque, NM. She attended the University of New Mexico for undergraduate studies and earned her BS in Biochemistry. She received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree in 2021 from the University of Colorado Skaggs School of Pharmacy. She then completed her PGY1/PGY2 pharmacotherapy residency at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in Amarillo, TX. After residency, Amanda took a position at Midland Memorial Hospital as a critical care pharmacist in August 2023. Her professional interests include antimicrobial stewardship, cardiology, and anticoagulation. Amanda enjoys traveling and spending time with family and friends.

Dr. Henna Ali is from Shreveport, Louisiana. She has completed her Bachelor’s degree in Biology from Louisiana State University, her Masters in Biomedical Sciences from Lincoln Memorial University in Harrogate, TN and her PharmD from South College in Knoxville, TN. Her professional interests include internal medicine, critical care, and infectious disease. She loves basketball (Team Lebron) and football (LSU and Vols). She enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and her cat, Shaq. She also enjoys cooking, playing basketball, and rummikub.
