Dario Beltran, MD, FAAN

Neurology

Dr. Beltran is a Fellow of the American Academy of Neurology. His published clinical interests are Alzheimer's disease, epilepsy, electrodiagnostic medicine, fibromyalgia, headaches, general neurology, neurophysiology, memory loss, migraines, multiple sclerosis, sleep disorders, strokes and Parkinson's disease.

Justin Murphy, MD

Justin Murphy, MD

Neurology

Dr. Murphy is a neurologist with advanced training in behavioral neurology and neuropsychiatry. He completed his adult neurology residency at the University of Colorado, where he was recognized with the Resident Student Teaching Award, and completed a fellowship in Behavioral Neurology & Neuropsychiatry. Dr. Murphy earned his medical degree from the University of Virginia School of Medicine and his bachelor's degree in psychology with a neuroscience certificate from Princeton University, where he was also a varsity lacrosse player.

Neel Shah, MD

Neurology, vascular neurology

Dr. Neel Shah received his undergraduate degree in Microbiology from the University of Georgia in Athens, GA. He graduated from medical school from the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, GA. Following medical school, Dr. Shah completed his Adult Neurology Residency at University of North Carolina Hospitals in Chapel Hill, NC. He then went on to complete a Fellowship in Vascular Neurology at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, TX. Before moving to Midland, he was in practice in Greenville, SC. Dr. Shah has focused his specialty and interest in Stroke and Inpatient Neurology. When not at work, Dr. Shah enjoys spending time with his family, playing tennis, and watching college football.

The 8th floor

The Neurosurgery and Neurology department is located on the 8th floor of Midland Memorial Hospital's Scharbauer Tower. The 24 bed unit specializes in the care of post surgical patients who have undergone brain surgery, spine surgery or are recovering from injury caused by trauma. Therapy is a vital part of the patient's plan of care and the nursing staff work in conjunction with the therapists to help patients down the road to recovery.
