Dr. Patrick Naeger completed his orthopedic surgical residency at the University of Texas Medical
Branch (UTMB) and earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from UTMB with a focus on global
health. Dr. Naeger served as a team physician for the Houston Astros, Houston Texans, and Rice
University athletics. Dr. Naeger has extensive experience in global health and surgical missions,
having led orthopedic surgical initiatives in underserved regions such as Honduras, Guatemala,
and Argentina. He has presented at global conferences and published in reputable journals.
Recognized for his dedication to medical education and patient care, Dr. Naeger has received
multiple awards, including the Western Orthopedic Association Resident Research Award and the
Arnold P. Gold Humanism and Excellence in Teaching Award. Combining clinical skill with a focus
on underserved populations, Dr. Naeger approaches orthopedic surgery and sports medicine with
