Sunburns

Sunburns
  1. Use sunscreen and reapply often when sweating, swimming, etc. Although many sunscreens claim to be waterproof, reapply frequently.
  2. Be sure to use an SPF 30 or higher with broad band UV protection.
  3. Cover up as much as possible and use clothing with UPF rating if staying outside for long periods of time.
  4. CDC does not recommend insect repellant/sunscreen combos. Simply use sunscreen first, then apply insect repellant.
