Midland Health Expands Testing Hours with City of Midland Funding

On Monday, November 9th the City of Midland City Council approved funding for Midland Health to expand testing for COVID-19 in our community.  

Due to this funding, on Tuesday, November 17th, the West Campus drive thru testing site will offer expanded hours. The hours of operation will be Monday thru Friday from 8:30am to 11:30am and 12:30pm to 8pm and Saturday from 9am to 1pm.

If you have been exposed or are symptomatic, please call 68Nurse to schedule an appointment to be tested at the Midland Health drive thru site. This testing resource is available to anyone who has been exposed or symptomatic, regardless of their ability to pay.  If available, insurance information will be collected, but no out-of-pocket fees will be required for anyone scheduled.

Midland Health is proud to partner with the City of Midland to offer these expanded hours for testing of COVID-19.  The expanded hours will allow for the capacity to run 1,350 tests per week.  Since March 17, 2020, we have administered 9,815 COVID-19 tests through our drive thru site operations.  This number does not include the tests performed through our Emergency Department and in an inpatient setting at Midland Memorial Hospital.

Edit as of March 22, 2022, the HRSA COVID-19 Uninsured Program will stop accepting claims for testing and treatment due to a lack of sufficient funds therefore a charge will occur for the services.
