Update Michigan Avenue Project: Water Shutdown

On Saturday, March 19th from 10am to 2pm Midland Memorial Hospital will experience a water shutdown. This shutdown is the next step towards the completion of the Michigan Avenue project.

The primary impact will be to those on the 7th, 8th and 9th floor of the tower. All preparations will be in place to provide patients, visitors and staff temporary water solutions during this time. Upon the water being turned back on, you may experience some discoloration until the pipes have been fully flushed.

We appreciate your patience during this time. The project is on schedule to be completed and the intersection back open by Thursday, March 24th.

Access (public and employee) onto the property remains the entrance/exit from Kent Street, near the Emergency Room. Kent Street will remain accessible from either Andrews Highway or Michigan Avenue. An alternative entrance onto the property will be North N Street and West Tennessee Avenue.
