Cardiac Rehab Week is February 12th through 17th.

Did you know that Midland Memorial Hospital provides both Inpatient and Outpatient Cardiac Rehab programs? Our certified Cardiac Rehabilitation Program is the only program in Midland that has met the strict standards of practices, set by the American Association of Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation (AACVPR). As such, the Cardiac Rehabilitation Program has been recognized for its commitment to improving quality of life by improving standards of care. AACVPR certified programs are leaders in the field of cardiovascular and pulmonary rehabilitation because they offer the most advanced practices available.

Our registered nurses hold several different professional certifications in cardiovascular care, and have been chosen to present our innovations in care at two national conferences this year.

Cardiac Rehabilitation provides continuous education and exercise to enable individuals with heart disease, and those recovering from heart surgery, to successfully return to an active healthy lifestyle. We are dedicated to the mission of reducing morbidity, mortality and disability from cardiovascular disease; through education, rehabilitation, research, and disease management.
