Beginning January 6, 2014, Midland Memorial Hospital will embark on a construction project aimed to improve patient access to the Illinois Avenue entrance. The entrance will be completely closed during this time.
Scheduled to be completed in mid-June, this project will yield at least 24 close parking spaces for patients who still enter this side of the campus, including additional handicapped parking. Landscaping improvement will also take place around the Illinois Avenue entrance. These improvements include low flow irrigation, use of crushed granite and river rock and more drought-tolerant plants. During this period, please use the Main Entrance located on the north side of the building. Parking is available in the parking garage and nearby parking lots. The project is designed to make the patients’ experience more pleasant and efficient.
