Join us tonight for a special presentation by a visiting New Jersey mother, Patricia, and her daughter, Katherine, living with Type 1 Diabetes. The two will share their story about living with Type 1 Diabetes and lead a discussion with parents and youth on:
· The choices young people have to make in managing their Diabetes
· Understanding each other’s point of view
· Situations specific to youth (i.e. feeling different around other kids) and parents (i.e. organizing the family’s routine around Diabetes management)
The discussion and interview will take place:
