The Testing Center is a single location where patients can receive a variety of outpatient exams, including:
Electrocardiogram (EKG)
A test to measure the electrical activity of the heart
Echovascular exam
Exams for the heart
Electroencephalogram (EEG)
A diagnostic test to measure the electrical activity of the brain
Pulmonary Function Test (PFT)
A diagnostic test to measure the working level and disease process of the lungs
X-Rays
Blood drawing
Mechanical Ventilation
Initiation, maintenance, and monitoring of the machines used to assist in breathing
Small Volume Nebulizer (SVN)
Used to deliver medication directly to the lungs and ease shortness of breath
Arterial Blood Gas (ABG)
A diagnostic blood test to determine the proper functioning of the lungs and kidneys
Pulse Oximetry
A non-invasive method to measure the oxygen in your blood.
BiPAP/CPAP
Machines used to help maintain a proper airway and help aid in maintaining oxygen levels, primarily during sleep
Nerve Conduction Velocity/Electromyogram (NCV/EMG)
Diagnostic tests to measure the electrical activity of the nerves and muscles
Polysomnogram (PSG)
An overnight sleep study used to diagnose sleep disturbances
The Testing Center allows direct access testing to be completed at our Main Campus, as well as West Campus. Sleep studies and stress tests will also be scheduled through The Testing Center.
