Seventh-annual Wellness Tour to Take Place July 27-31

The seventh-annual Wellness Tour is back in-person and better than ever. The schedule for this jam-packed health and wellness week is full of fun events for the whole family.

Join Midland Health from July 27 through July 31 at a variety of locations in Midland.

Here is a brief overview of the events:

  • Burn calories with free workout classes and passes at local gyms and studios;
  • Take an interpretive hike with Sibley Nature Center;
  • Be a blood hero and donate at the Midland Health Blood Drive;
  • Play yard games with Senior Life – there will be prizes;
  • Bring the kids to the Keep Midland Beautiful Recycling Relay Race;
  • Cool off and have fun with the Midland Fire Department at Wet N’ Wild;
  • Free Back to School physicals with Community Children’s Clinic;
  • COVID-19 Vaccine Clinic with Midland Health;
  • Discounts at local healthy eateries;
  • Free teen heart screenings with Championship Hearts and Midland Health;
  • Ninja warrior style obstacle course for kids aged 5-17.

Wellness Tour is one of the unique ways Midland Health is working to help make Midland the healthiest community in Texas. Our passion for Midland County, which is ranked in the top 10 percent of healthiest counties in Texas, according to the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, is for the people of Midland to enjoy their best health possible. Wellness Tour is one more step forward in lighting the way for health.

This health and wellness week is produced in part by Midland Health, the city of Midland, Keep Midland Beautiful, Midland College, Sibley Nature Center, Senior Life Midland and Midland ISD.
