98 New Cases of COVID-19 and One New COVID-19 Related Death

The City of Midland Health Department is currently conducting their investigation on 98 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Midland County for September 29, 2020, bringing the overall case count to 3857. There are 898 isolated cases, 2284 recovered, 383 under investigation, 207 unable to locate/refused and 85 COVID-19 related deaths in Midland County. Today’s new cases are reflective of lab results from September 26-28, 2020.

 

This increase includes 64 positives from the testing that took place at the Midland County Detention Center.

 

The City of Midland Health Department will continue to monitor the individuals in accordance with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

 

Today, Midland County, the City of Midland and Midland Health confirmed Midland County's 85th COVID-19 related death.

 

The 85th patient, a male in his 80s with underlying health conditions, was at home. The patient passed away on September 23, 2020.
