104 New Cases of COVID-19 and One New COVID-19 Related Death

The City of Midland Health Department is currently conducting their investigation on 104 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Midland County for October 23, 2020, bringing the overall case count to 4979. There are 1190 isolated cases, 2854 recovered, 593 under investigation, 252 unable to locate/refused and 90 COVID-19 related deaths in Midland County. Today’s new cases are reflective of lab results from October 22, 2020.

 The City of Midland Health Department will continue to monitor the individuals in accordance with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

 Today, Midland County, the City of Midland and Midland Health confirmed Midland County's 90th COVID-19 related death.

 The 90th patient, a male in his 50s with underlying health conditions, was being treated at Midland Memorial Hospital. The patient passed away on October 22, 2020.
