106 New Cases of COVID-19 and One New COVID-19 Related Death

The City of Midland Health Department is currently conducting their investigation on 106 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Midland County for October 17-19, 2020, bringing the overall case count to 4550. There are 1062 isolated cases, 2700 recovered, 457 under investigation, 242 unable to locate/refused and 89 COVID-19 related deaths in Midland County. Today’s new cases are reflective of lab results from October 16-18, 2020.

The City of Midland Health Department will continue to monitor the individuals in accordance with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

Today, Midland County, the City of Midland and Midland Health confirmed Midland County's 89th COVID-19 related death.

The 89th patient, a female in her 70s with underlying health conditions, was being treated at Midland Memorial Hospital. The patient passed away on October 18, 2020.
