68 new cases of COVID-19 and 1 new COVID-19 related death

The City of Midland Health Department is currently conducting their investigation on 68 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Midland County for October 10-12, 2020, bringing the overall case count to 4244. There are 1036 isolated cases, 2509 recovered, 388 under investigation, 225 unable to locate/refused and 86 COVID-19 related deaths in Midland County. Today’s new cases are reflective of lab results from October 9-11, 2020. 

The City of Midland Health Department will continue to monitor the individuals in accordance with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

Today, Midland County, the City of Midland and Midland Health confirmed Midland County's 86th COVID-19 related death.

The 86th patient, a male in his 60s with underlying health conditions, was being treated at Midland Memorial Hospital. The patient passed away on October 11, 2020.
