The City of Midland Health Department is currently conducting their investigation on seven new confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Midland County, bringing the overall case count to 201.
The 195th confirmed case is a male in his 60s who was tested by ORMC. The male is currently self-isolating at home. The confirmed case is an employee at Pioneer, who last worked May 30, 2020. The male was not in a customer facing role. The source of exposure is community acquired.
The 196th confirmed case is a male in his 30s who was tested by a private provider. The male is currently self-isolating at home. The confirmed case is an employee at HEB on Loop 250, who last worked June 9, 2020. The source of exposure is household contact to known case.
The 197th confirmed case is a male in his 70s who was tested by Midland Health. The male is currently an inpatient at Midland Health. The source of exposure is contact to known case.
The 198th confirmed case is a female in her 50s who was tested by Midland Health. The female is currently self-isolating at home. The source of exposure is community acquired.
The 199th confirmed case is a male in his 50s who was tested by private provider. The male is currently self-isolating at home. The source of exposure is contact to a case in Odessa, TX.
The 200th confirmed case is a male in his 30s who was tested by Midland Health. The male is currently self-isolating at home. The confirmed case is a clinical employee at Midland Health, and last worked on June 10, 2020. Employee Health is following up and monitoring employees with known contact. No patients were exposed. The source of exposure is contact to known case.
The 201st confirmed case is a male in his 30s who was tested by Midland Health. The male is currently self-isolating at home. The source of exposure is travel to Dallas, TX.
The City of Midland Health Department will continue to monitor the individuals in accordance with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
