38 New Cases of COVID-19 in Midland

Today, Midland County, the City of Midland and Midland Health confirmed Midland County's 68th and 69th COVID-19 related death.

The 68th patient, a male in his 80s with underlying health conditions, was being treated at Midland Memorial Hospital. The patient passed away on August 27, 2020.

The 69th patient, a female in her 70s with underlying health conditions, was being treated at Midland Medical Lodge. The patient passed away on August 29, 2020.

The City of Midland Health Department is currently conducting their investigation on 33 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Midland County for August 29-31, 2020, bringing the overall case count to 3272. There are 941 isolated cases, 1649 recovered, 448 under investigation, 165 unable to locate/refused and 69 COVID-19 related deaths in Midland County. Today’s new cases are reflective of lab results from August 28-30, 2020. 

The City of Midland Health Department will continue to monitor the individuals in accordance with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
