Kimberly began her career in the non-profit sector, managing crisis response volunteers—a role that sparked her passion for people and organizational support. This experience laid the foundation for her transition into Human Resources, where she discovered a strong alignment between mission-driven work and strategic people operations.
Kimberly’s HR career started in the oil and gas industry, where she gained valuable experience in workforce development, talent acquisition, and employee relations within fast-paced, high-stakes environments. Over time, she shifted into the healthcare sector, drawn by the opportunity to make a direct impact on organizations that serve others.
With a unique background that spans both corporate and non-profit landscapes, she brings a thoughtful, people-first approach to Human Resources, always aiming to align business goals with a strong culture of support and inclusion.
Kimberly joined Midland Health in 2016 as a Human Resource Business Partner and then served as the Director of Talent Acquisition. Kimberly is an active member of SHRM (Society for Human Resource Management) and holds her certification in SHRL.
Kimberly is a native Midlander, has two daughters, 32 and 27 and is a graduate of Texas Tech University.
